Mountain Bikes and Bicycles
How can a life cycle ever be complete without the possession of a fantastic mountain bike? When the trail season begins, even amateurs enjoy the knee jerks. The latest news and trends on mountain bikes and bicycles can be summed, from the recently fun-packed season that ended in Kamploops at the Harper Mountain Trails. For starters, new road maps for trails for first timers are a fantastic idea. It familiarises the newbie with what is in store for the next season. This exercise whets the appetite and also makes the regular mountain biker a senior to look forward to. A guided tour brings on the fun and the best models of mountain bikes are on display. The seasoned bikers perform stunts and satiate the hunger pangs with a large picnic basket. Mountain biking is fun when the stomach is well nourished.
And as for the models, what trends do we see?
There are no free rides, ever! A good sturdy mountain bike needs loads of money…..it’s all about passion, honey! Ask the pro! A good model depends on the weight/price/reliability range. If one is going against the trend and buying an older model or a brand that isn’t ‘season’s hottest model’ it is quite sensible. Brand loyalty obviously means the model has been able to withstand the tough mountain trails. A god bike needs to withstand the abuse with a sturdy gripe (preferably connected to the hub). A tough customer could not ask for anything more than that. The range of Mountain bikes is vast-big, small medium sizes. They are further classified into free riders, cross country, down hill street rides too. Some of the brands that have a captive customer loyalty include Land Rover, Falcon Mountain Bikes, Konna, Pinnacle, Raleigh, Scot, Canondale, Gary Fischer and Specialised versions.
Racing is not the only reason the bikes are used. Some bikers chose to bicycle for a cause. Hence look for models that can perform on uneven surfaces even on land. Now websites have reduced the physical tour of finding the right price, weight and model for the amateurs and the pros. Between the novice friendly less skiddy bikes to ‘let’s bolt’ attitude bikes, Trek 1.5 and Canondale CAAD 9 are doing quite well. They fit the bill in all departments for any biker. And seeing the number of women entries, many models are available to fulfil the female bicycling bandwagon too.
